What you keep for yourself, you lose.
What you give away, you keep forever.

Christmas is the time when hearts open and generosity becomes the most precious of things.

Whatever we give, be it smiles, kindness or tangible gifts, becomes part of a lasting bond that helps enrich our lives as well as the lives of people around us.

That is why we have decided to continue our technological wine-making journey by taking you to Piedmont to discover the wines from the 8pari social project.

8pari
8pari is so much more than wine.

8pari is a work placement project for vulnerable people, people with disabilities or with mental health issues, and refugees. They work in wineries in the Alba region in Piedmont to produce, together, “good, clean and fair” wine.

In the essence of 8pari lies the concept of equal opportunities: a tangible commitment to social and job equality.

8pari is an integral part of the agricultural educational programme run by the Emmaus Project, which, for 25 years, has worked for social inclusion in the areas of Alba, Bra, Langhe and Roero.

We share a wine with you that tells a story of the challenges faced and the limits overcome, bottle after bottle.

Dolcetto d’Alba DOC
2021

The Dolcetto is the wine of the Piedmontese farmer’s family, an expression of simplicity and freshness.

Ruby in colour with violet reflections, it has a clear fragrance of dense fruit with notes of cherry and raspberry. The flavour is rich and refreshing, the tannin balanced, with a lasting presence.

A versatile wine to be enjoyed with every meal: it goes well with first courses, such as agnolotti, tagliatelle in a meat sauce, bean soups, and particularly well with boiled meats and game.
It also pairs well with cured meat (salumi) and young and medium-aged cheese.

Roero Arneis DOCG
2022

The grapes are cultivated in vineyards in Santo Stefano Roero and Canale, harvested by hand and pressed.

The characteristics of the Roero are found easily in the glass: the aroma of fruit, peach and pear, a rich, slightly tannic flavour with a savoury finish.

It expresses itself best when enjoyed with fish dishes thanks to its flavour which enhances fried food. In general it goes well with simple dishes, where the flavours are not too intense, such as pasta and vegetable soups, pasta with delicate fillings and smoked, sliced fish dishes.
